One of the fun ironies in view of your Lyrans is that my Paschats are from Sirius. Maybe the dogs evolved there after they did.
That's an intriguing thought! What if the Lyrans arrived there long before the dogs? I wonder if they coexisted there at some point. Was that the start of their infamous rivalry?
